People have told me that I’m a humble, knowledgeable, supportive, calming, creative psychologist. A consultant-to-the-consultants, that simply gets stuff done.

I am a work psychologist specialising in leadership development and creativity. No, I'm not 'that' kind of psychologist - you can lie on a sofa and tell me all of your problems if you like, but I'm not qualified to fix them. Your work problems... yes. Making the workplace a better place to be is what I do - well it’s what we do, it’s not just me making the magic happen, there’s a whole army of amazing collaborators and friends that make this what it is… whatever the challenge, we have someone who can help.

I spent 10 years in HR and Head of L&D roles working with national and international organisations, as well as collaborating with countless subject matter experts and keynote speakers in leadership, academia, business and sport... soaking up their knowledge along the way. Everybody has had a less-than-ideal boss, or worked in a culture that made them unhappy - let’s change that.

The creativity comes from a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology and upcoming PhD research, working alongside industry leading figures in the fields of workplace creativity and the effectiveness of workplace training. I’ve got a good understanding of how people learn and how to do this creatively.

I am not someone who turns up with a magic box of tricks claiming to have the answer and I don't believe there is an 'off the shelf' solution to great performance. To me, organisations, teams and individuals are very simply, just humans - and all humans are different - by taking the time to really listen to individuals, you get a much clearer understanding of what fantastic means to them, and how this can be achieved.
